23 December 2009 - Stock Journal and Telstra are asking you to nominate your local sporting legend today!
The competition is a unique way to say thanks to those tireless heroes of country sport who make such a massive contribution to the social fabric of rural and regional communities.
There's $3000 in cash prizes up for grabs spread over both the male and female categories. Here's the breakdown:
* You could win $500 by simply nominating a Country Sporting Legend
* Your nominated Country Sporting Legend could win $500
* The sporting club of the winning male and female sporting legend winners will win $500
All you need to do click on the following link to the nomination form - Stock Journal Sporting Heroes Application Form , fill out and return to enter. Or provide the relevant details in a return email to editor.stockjournal@ruralpress.com, post the completed form to Country Sporting Legends, Stock Journal, GPO Box 2249, Adelaide 5001 or fax via 08 8372 5282.
Nominated legends will be profiled in Stock Journal in January.
